Educate: Awareness Campaigns
Our goal is to educate Black women about the symptoms of ovarian cancer, empowering them with the knowledge needed for informed discussions with their doctors. By recognizing the subtle symptoms of ovarian cancer and feeling more comfortable addressing these with their healthcare providers, we hope that more Black women will undergo testing, leading to earlier detection and improved outcomes.
Oshun aims to provide Black women with essential information about ovarian cancer symptoms. As they become more informed and confident in discussing their symptoms with doctors, we anticipate an increase in testing for this gynecological cancer. Early detection significantly improves prognosis, and we are committed to supporting this vital health initiative.
